Sound Healing

Join Maria Benardis either in person or remotely for a sound healing session. The session is focused on healing and attuning the mind, body and spirit with sacred sounds and specific vibrational frequencies.

During the session specific instruments, music, tones, tuning forks and other sonic vibrations will be used to harmonize and heal the body, mind, and spirit. The customized specialized sound frequencies will create a therapeutic atmosphere to promote deep rest, nervous system rebalancing, balance the chakras and emotional release.

During the session Maria will also incorporate energy devices to lift the life force energy of the body and the environment.

Sound Healing was practiced by many Ancient Greek healers and physicians including Pythagoras. They used vibration to aid in digestion, treat mental imbalances, and induce sleep. Pythagoras believed that if the balance of the soul is disturbed it can be restored with the help of music since universal music and the soul follow similar harmony principles. This way the world harmony can be restored.

Pythagoras also used intervals of harmonic ratios as a type of medicine for “dis-eases” of the body, the emotions, & the Soul. He aligned Souls to their divine nature” and through music he performed what he called, “Soul Adjustments”. According to Aristotle, the sounds created by the movements of the celestial spheres are full of harmony.

I am also holding group sound healing sessions. They will be recorded so you can go back and listen to them at any time after the live session.

Energy & Sound Healing

The session combines Ancient Greek “Reiki” and Sound Healing Therapy (see above for details).

Ancient Greek “reiki” / energy healing is a form of energetic healing that provides us the opportunity to reconnect to the fact that we are not just a physical body, and that there is an essence within, untouched by life that knows how to live harmoniously.

The ancient Greeks saw that illness was attributed to beyond the physical, and sought healing through connection and union with Divinity, including the technique of laying-on of hands. This approach to healing is well known by the God of ancient healing and medicine in Greek religion, Asclepius, who was known to be a healer throughout his mortal life by healing through his hands. This technique was based on the principle that healing science is within.

The ancient Greeks also acknowledged that there is an ‘unseen real’ beneath the ‘unseen seen’ or, in other words, there is a realness (although unseen) to what is beneath the physical.

Our bodies are constantly talking to us however we may not listen or disregard the messages.
This is how we may end up feeling tired, stressed, anxious or with an injury or disease.
